Black Marble wins the Inaugural JLP Great British Innovation in Retail Award 2012

We are delighted to announce that Black Marble won the inaugural John Lewis Great British Innovation in Retail Award, 2012.

John Lewis has invited some of the most innovative and exciting British technology companies and universities to work with them to solve key business challenges through innovation. Through a day of presentations to a panel of expert Judges, Black Marble won with a solution focusing to address issues in Queue Management, with a particular reference to children’s shoes.

Paul Coby, IT Director for John Lewis, said in his blog (4 September 2012): “We want to build on our heritage of British innovation in technology to build commercial success in the new emerging omni-channel world of retail. We are aiming to build up an “eco-system” of John Lewis technology partners in retail innovation.”
